Concluding Oman’s
Engineering Competition
An engineering competition recently took place in Al Musan’a College of Technology on February 28th for all technical colleges in Oman, organized by the Engineering Club of Al Musan’a College. All technical colleges in Oman took part in the competition, with only the absence of Ibri College and Higher College of Technology.
The competition event commenced with a recitation from the noble Qu’ran, followed by an opening speech by Dr.Ayham, Head of the Engineering Department in Al Musan’a College. Dr.Ayham welcomed the participating teams and clearly presented the scope and guidelines of the competition.
In an ambience of excitement, the first stage of the competition kicked-off as a written test for all teams, with each team consisting of three students representing their college. The test was followed by a one hour break as the organizing committee of the engineering college took the teams in a tour of the college buildings and departments while the judges corrected the tests. The second stage commenced with an announcement of the test results, presented by the Dean of Al Musan’a College. The Dean greeted the participating teams and congratulated the Salalah team for winning the first stage of the competition, while calling upon Nizwa team that attained last place and disqualified. The second stage involved a set of questions presented electronically, fairly and clearly, in front of all the teams.
After a series of challenges and questions, the results were close with the following winners:
First place: Shinaas team
Second place: Ibra team
Third place: Al Musan’a team
Fourth place: Salalah team
At the end of the event, the Head of the Engineering Department from Al Musan’a College honoured the top three winning teams with group photos taken. All teams expressed their thanks and gratitude to Al Musan’a College for its hospitality in hosting the event.

These hormones normally reproduce in male to change their physical phase in puberty. Anabolic steroids speed up the process, and can cause irreversible health consequences over time. Most athletes take Androstenedione, a type of anabolic steroid, to build muscle mass. It is what the media always talks about, not the normal steroids' doctors subscribe to patients. Athletes use it to boost/improve their abilities or have more skill endurance.
