Riyada and Knowledge Oman Partner for Social Entrepreneurship

The Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Riyada) and Knowledge Oman entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in developing social entrepreneurship and its leadership in Oman, at Riyada headquarters in Gala, Muscat. The MOU was signed by Khalifa Said Al Abri, Chief Executive Officer, Riyada, and Rym Aoudia, Knowledge Oman President.
Khalifa Al Abri, CEO of Riyada, stated, “Social Inclusion is one of the strategic pillars of Riyada part of our national SME Development initiatives. He added we are pleased to be strategic partners with Knowledge Oman to serve and enable Oman’s social entrepreneurs that contribute to both economic and social impact.”
On the other hand, Rym Aoudia, President of Knowledge Oman commented, “Social enterprise is a growing area that offers a sustainable model in serving society and enabling job creation. As a budding area in Oman, our esteemed partnership with Riyada as a strategic partner brings the opportunity to enable more awareness and capacity building for social enterprises to effectively emerge and serve the market.”
The memorandum of understanding between Riyada and Knowledge Oman, the leading platform in Oman for knowledge-sharing and social innovation, kicks-off immediately to serve the strategic pillar of serving social entrepreneurship in Oman through educating, coaching and mentoring social entrepreneurs.
