Knowledge Oman Conducts Learning Sessions with Ministry of Education
Knowledge Oman, the leading knowledge sharing community platform in the country, joins hands with the Ministry of Education to extend its mission of promoting knowledge by conducting a series of learning sessions across Oman. Part of this collaboration, Knowledge Oman recently conducted a learning session for the Ministry of Education staff at the Learning Resources Center on productivity and success at work.
AbdulAziz Al Subhi, Director of Learning Resources Center at Ministry of Education, says, “Training is an integral element in the progress and development of staff working in educational institutes, especially in learning to manage priorities within the workplace. Thanks to our partnership with Knowledge Oman we were able to bring our staff a learning opportunity on investing time at work to gain strategic knowledge and tools.”
The session at the Learning Resources Center was led by Ali Mahmood Al Balushi, from the Knowledge Ambassadors team, delivered in an interactive session with relevance to the local context. The Knowledge Ambassadors project includes professionals, both Omani and non-Omani, sharing their knowledge on a variety of topics, from sciences, business, humanities, technology, sports, personal development and more.
Amal Al Maashari, Project Manager of Knowledge Ambassadors Programs, notes, “Our mission has always been to realize the vision of His Majesty for a knowledge society, and with this drive we are happy to support the Ministry of Education to spread knowledge through our Knowledge Ambassadors Program that attracts a network of quality professionals and experts passionate to empower communities in various fields.”
Knowledge Oman today is home to more than 15,000 members and growing. The Knowledge Ambassadors initiative in particular continues to expand across Oman and build partnerships with various entities to enable a learning culture, promote the knowledge of various professionals, and develop a knowledge society. .
